My photographic interest deals with the act of observation, noticing and framing spaces and places. Interior/exterior views, partial glimpses, slight coverings, quiet corners, areas of transparency and opacity are elements I seek out. I am drawn to odd pairings, pleasing encounters - a kind of trouvaille within the city. Photography serves as an important role within my art practice. Through habitual practice, an inventory of encounters, observations and noticing’s accumulate, all which inform and form the ingredients of my work.
